The Growers

An important component of our operating ethos is that we do nothing to upset the tenor of life, or the farming patterns of our growers, but merely provide them with the know-how to produce for us, so securing for themselves a reliable source of cash income. Only the very exceptional farmer will grow more than half an acre for Simply Hibi, and indeed the average area sown is only a little over one quarter of an acre. The objective is to provide an opportunity for a small farmer to use some of his surplus land to generate a cash income in the certain knowledge that his crop will be both bought and paid for.
