The Growers

Having identified and isolated our special hibiscus, we sought the ideal location for production. We were looking for a combination of fertile and productive land, together with people who had a strong tradition of crop production and would benefit from the ability to generate a cash income.

This quest eventually led us to rural Uganda, not far from the shores of Lake Victoria. The good soils and high rainfall here provide perfect growing conditions, and the traditional system of land ownership and agriculture enables us to contract directly with smallholder farmers.
